Hayley Falk grew up attending ceremonies with Wreaths Across America and VetsRock with her father who was volunteering at these events. In 2019, at the age of 16, she started Because of the Brave as a blog to remind everyone of the service and sacrifice of those who have gone before us to support our way of life, and our freedom! After years of attending these events with her family, Because of the Brave was created in 2019 as a blog honoring Medal of Honor recipients. Her achievements were recognized by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society shortly after as she continues to educate Americans about the current and former service members of our great nation.
