INSIDE THE DESERT PRINT
L148’s resident artist utilized the traditional art technique of cyanotype printing to create Pre-Fall 2024’s “Shadow” artwork, laying twigs foraged from Marfa, Texas atop specially coated paper and manipulating naturally cast light to float graphic lines across silhouetted forms. These irregular imprints were reinterpreted many ways throughout the collection.
