This is a wonderful pair of 1940s or 50s vintage ladies’ fingerless opera gloves that are made in a fine black mesh lace.  I believe that they are made of a cotton or cotton blend.  The label reads “Lotus S Made in Canada” - although sized as a small, I normally wear a size 7 and I was able to get them on, so due to the stretch of the mesh lace they probably could be worn by a medium size.  These fingerless opera gloves have a length of 17” and a palm width of 3 3/8” unstretched. They are in very good condition except that the left glove hem is partially unstitched - should be an easy fix for a seamstress.

This is a wonderful pair of vintage fingerless opera gloves - nice quality, wonderful formal look for a sleeveless evening gown!
