This is a figurine made by Beswick in the form of CH Fochno Trinket, a champion American Basset Hound dog. This figurine was modelled by Arthur Gredington and issued in 1965 and was made until 1994 as model number 2045A. It is marked with the oval Beswick England black backstamp on one of the underside paws, dating it to pre-1972. It is made in a cream white colour with brown and black detailing. The dog measures 5 in height at the head and 7 3/4 in length - it weighs 11.7 oz. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or wear. Nice display piece for the Basset Hound owner - very nice quality with good gloss
