This is a wonderful brown leather 1980s body con dress featuring interesting body con design. This 1980s body con dress is highly constructed with riveted pleats along the short sleeves and down the centre of the skirt of the dress.  It has a deep V neckline and a three snap closure below the neckline.  The neckline is accented with rivets and the dress has a matching wide leather belt with snap closure centre.  The waist is elasticized and has large loops that accommodate the belt.  The skirt is structured so that it hikes up at the bottom centre.  This 1980s body con dress is fully lined in a paisley patterned ochre coloured viscose or acetate.

Age: 1980s

Label: None.  

Sizing:  Size S for small is indicated on this 1980s body con dress, but please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into consideration:

Shoulders:  16 1/2” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  10 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Bust:  36” around, but meant to be slightly loose

Waist:  28” around stretched and 22” unstretched - comfortable fit would be in-between.  The belt measures 31” around 

Hips:  38” around

Overall length: 39", measured flat

Condition:  This 1980s body con dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or soiling.  It presently, however, does have a very slight scent of cigarette smoke that I’m working on by airing the dress.  Hopefully the odour will be gone soon, but there is no guarantee, although a professional leather method dry cleaning would eliminate it. 

This is a fabulous example of 80s design.....innovative 1980s body con dress style, very 1980s......
