This is a mens vintage 1970s plaid sport coat made in an orange, beige, sienna brown, brown and black check pattern against a woven tan brown and white wool twill background. It is made in a style similar to that worn by Herb Tarlek, the salesman for WKRP in Cincinnati, the television show. This 1970s plaid sport coat is made with wide notched lapels, a two button closure and has very distinctive belted detailing. The shoulders are padded and there is a belted flapped pocket built onto either side as well as a belted chest pocket. The sleeves have belted cuffs. The back has a 12” long back bottom centre vent and a faux belt across the back. This 1970s plaid sport coat is fully lined.
