This is a double candleholder made of maroon glazed pottery. I believe that the piece dates to the 1940s - it is unsigned, but most likely of American origin. It is made in a form that looks to me like two intertwined musical horns. It measures 7 1/2 across the top and has a height of 5 3/4 and weighs 1 lb and 6 oz. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - there was wax residue in the holders, most of which I removed, but there is still some wax further down that would take more patience than I have to get rid of, but doesnt affect anything because of its presence. Nice form - lovely mid-century decorative accent!
