This is a vintage 1930s trio, consisting of cup, saucer and side plate, made in the faded pink Patrica Rose pattern by Susie Cooper. This pattern is extremely rare, and was issued in 1935, but discontinued in 1938 when the faded pink was replaced by solid pink. This trio is different from the other trios that I have in that the saucer is larger, measuring 6 1/8 instead of 5 3/4. The cup is marked with the Susie Cooper signature mark, the saucer is marked with the Susie Cooper Production mark while the side plate is marked with the Susie Cooper deer mark. The cup measures 2 1/4 in height with a top diameter of 3 5/8 and the side plate measures 5 7/8 in diameter. The set is in very good condition with only some minor surface crazing to the cup, barely noticeable under normal viewing. This trio displays very well and each would make a great addition to a Susie Cooper collection due to the larger saucer!
