She has always had a love for horses, growing up in Colorado she participated in horseback riding competitions, her mother trained her to be one of the best, and she was an equestrian champion for many years before giving it up to become a journalist in New York. She misses those days, as well as the ranch she grew up on. Thankfully she gave up the New York City life for simple living seven years ago, she runs an equestrian club now, training young boys and girls to be champions like she once was, and she’s happier than ever. When she isn’t around horses all day, she’s at her beach house in southern California with her husband, wearing her pants while sipping on mojitos.
