Limited edition handmade lacquered wood tray with a detailed floral design taken from works by Pierre-Joseph Redouté. A Belgian artist and botanist, Redouté was nicknamed "the Raphael of flowers" and is particularly known for his watercolors of flowers at Malmaison, Napoleon's favored residence. The black background and gold interior sides add drama to the traditional subject. Part of a collection featuring artworks from best selling artists and museum collections.
