Pikake is from the jasmine family, and the tiny white flowers
yield a sweet, delicate scent. Named by Princess Ka’iulani after
the beautiful peacocks that roamed her gardens in Waikiki, the
pikake is an unforgettable lei flower. The dainty buds blossom
into tiny masterpieces of fragrance, and a multi-strand pikake
lei resembles a beautiful pearl necklace. Commonly used at
weddings, the pikake is the flower of romance.
