The final sector of cobblestones in Paris Roubaix is hardly noticeable after the 55 km of hell the riders have already endured over the course of the race. 300 m then two right turns into one of the best views (and sounds) in professional cycling - the Vélodrome de Roubaix. The roar from the crowd is electrifying, and the final lap can either be spent with arms pumping on a solo breakaway win, or it can be a tense track sprint just to see what the riders have left in the tank after 259 km.
