When beginning to put together the puzzle of this new season, I asked myself to come up with a few words to function as 'north stars'. Guardrails to steer me in the right direction when choosing fabrics, styles & colors.

The words that came from inside my head were: "soft as clouds & cotton balls", "floating & dreaming" & "the 'Victorialand' album by Cocteau Twins"

From there, my obsession began: barely-there tones, scrumptiously soft fabrics, perfect staple pieces, style with ease

WHY DO I LOVE THIS STYLE? I snuck this one in because you can always use a great blue hoodie!

But besides that, the fact is that this fleece is really soft & comfy - as soon as I get home, I look forward to jumping right into my sweatshirts & joggers.

Each fleece hoodie is constructed from a 7.3 oz, rich cotton/poly blended knit fabric. The fabric definitely has some body to it which makes for a flattering fit and a more polished look.

Oh and don't think Stephen, (my handsome pal who is modeling) gave any samples back! He is addicted now too :)

Below is some information regarding how B+B fleece got started:

Let me guess, you've been spending a little more time at home lately, right?Yeah me too... 

So I gave myself a little project......If I am going to be here, how can I make myself comfortable without looking like and feeling like a complete lazy bones?

I needed a Blade+Blue version of these ugly sweatshirts & sweatpants that were taking up way too much space in my tiny closet.

So here we are and I am SO EXCITED to see this idea come to life. Not even the pandemic could stop this from happening!

I would also like to say that it was a very rewarding experience to meet and work with people who were in the same boat as I was... we were up against the ropes and we had to box our way out of this mess.

I am very proud that these pieces were Made in USA for Blade+Blue.

The beautiful textured, marled character of the fabric kicks the level of style up a few notches too.

To me, these sweatshirts are the new sweater and these joggers are the new jeans.

If you want to see these pieces in real life, just wait on the corner of Eureka St. & Market St. in SF... you are bound to see me walking Blade & Gavin, dashing to the post office before they close, running out to grab my DoorDash order or going for a walk with my Erik. Whatever I am doing, I am in these!

I really like feeling this comfortable but doing it in Blade+Blue style. It makes me feel like not everything had to change in this nutty world.

Each piece sports the Blade+Blue crest next to the kangaroo pocket on the wearer's right.
