John 8:36 says "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Because of His great Love for us Jesus went to the cross! 

He wants to set us free! Free from sin, shame, condemnation, death, our past etc!

Repentance is receiving that freedom! Repentance is dying to our selves and stepping into what God has called us to!

The world tells us that freedom is doing whatever you want.

The Bible tells us that you are actually a slave to what you obey! When we obey our flesh we are enslaved to our natural desires which lead to destruction! True freedom is found in allowing Gods kindness lead us to repentance!

The greek word for repent is " metanoia" which means to change your mind! 

So many times in our lives we are weighed down by our sins and we don't realize that God's kindness is leading us to repentance, a changed mind, a renewed spirit and the freedom found in Christ alone!
