In Oaxaca, the tight-knit territories present some of the most extraordinary hand-woven
garments that are pieces of art. In the Amuzgo community, their work is entwined with
cultural and ancestral traditions passing along weaving techniques from generation to generation. Made from native cottons + silks that use natural dyes from wild marigolds to nanche bark. Each piece can take months to even a year to create using back-strap looms.
