The LF NYC x F&P collaboration denim is finally here. We've been huge fans and (more importantly) friends of Left Field, so when Christian approached us about working together, we jumped at the chance.

Choosing the Atlas fit was a no-brainer. This might just be the best fit on the market right now. A relaxed top block provides plenty of room to move in the hips and thighs and keeps you covered on the backside when bending over. It's perfect for guys with bigger thighs, no need to worry about the jeans fitting too tightly. From there, the jeans taper all the way down to the leg opening. It's a fairly dramatic taper but it provides the perfect fit and silhouette by taking up all that excess fabric in the lower leg. The result is a pair of jeans that fits the natural shape of the body perfectly.

For the fabric, we knew we wanted something special. There were a number of options to choose from, but once we put our hands on this 15.5 oz. organic indigo selvedge denim from the famed Japanese mill Nihon Menu, we knew we'd found our fabric. The denim features a beautiful texture due to the tension of the shuttle looms during weaving. The warp is rope dyed indigo and starts out an inky color that will fade to a beautiful brighter hue over time. The weft is a natural organic cotton - not bleached - giving the denim that perfect vintage feel that marries up with the indigo warp perfectly.

As with all Left Field products, the devil's in the details. Bandana pocket bags, skull logo on the rivets and tacks, sewn-in belt loops, Universal Fastener hardware... it's all there. But the coup de gras is the insanely beefy 5 oz. vegetable tanned leather patch. It features a custom red foil embossed logo that rounds out the look and feel of this denim and will just get tougher and sexier with every wash.
