This is a large gold tone bird brooch with large red rhinestone center from the late 1930s, early 1940s. At first glance I thought it was a swan, but on further research I believe it's a Eurasian Hoopoe bird. It's in very good condition, some dullness to the gold, unsigned, and measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 3 inches high. It's similar to the Marcel Boucher swan brooch design from 1938. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have, as this is a FINAL SALE item and cannot be returned.
