Trippen's inspiration for the fall collection is the Japanese mending technique of kintsugi; when broken ceramics are painstakingly put back together by hand, using gold dust to fill the cracks and celebrate the beauty of imperfections. The 'cracks' here are the seamed leather insets of gold metallic that run through these super-cool classic combat boots. They have a long lace-up panel in front, with an extra-sturdy lug sole and wide toe box.
