Story

The Kat Dress could have been called the "Saturday in Brooklyn Dress" since that's when and where it's most in its element (just add a straw bag), but I named it the Kat Dress because it's basically the 2.0 version of FW19's Catherine Dress. After wearing the Catherine on repeat last year, I realized the dress was about 95% what I wanted it to be (the deep V-neck, high waistline, and midi length were all so flattering!), but there were a few things regarding the shape and placement of the buttonholes that bugged me enough to come out with a version 2.0. After some tinkering around, I'm happy to report that version 2.0 is officially the dress of my dreams: constructed out of a finely woven polka-dot Japanese linen, the Kat is everything the Catherine was (and a little bit more).

Fabric

This dress is made of flax linen fabric woven in Japan. Crisp and lightweight with a fine weave, it is a true navy blue with light grey dots scattered about.

The dress is lined with GOTS-certified organic cotton voile milled in India. Lightweight and airy, the lining creates a soft, breathable layer against your skin.

The Kat Dress is fitted in the bust and the waist, so use both measurements when determining your size. We recommend sizing up if you're in between sizes.
