Noe Kuremoto's collection of the Dogu Ladies is a salute to the strength of the career mother, her resilience and determination. It is also the recognition that what she does is without historical precedent - with no past to guide us, these vases are a talisman for the history we create ourselves.
Born in Osaka, Noe graduated in Fine Art with First Class Honors from Central Saint Martins College of Art. Today she lives in a small cottage in the forest of Lithuania with her family, where she also creates her ceramics.
