• Materials: nameplates are laser cut acrylic, bamboo hoops are nickel-free gold or silver plated brass
• Hoop diameter is measured from outer edge of bamboo
• Helpful tips
• For Classic Script and Candy Script fonts we do NOT recommend using all uppercase letters for your capitalization. Cursive fonts look best in title case or lowercase otherwise the text becomes hard to read.
• Block font looks best in all UPPERCASE
• Thrilla, Benji, Superhero and Radical fonts do not have lowercase characters, text will appear in UPPERCASE regardless of capitalization.
• When using a different word on each ear, please note the number of characters will affect the shape of the nameplate (the width of the nameplate is fixed, based on the width of the hoop). The less characters in a word, the taller/larger the text will be. It typically looks best when both words have a similar number of characters.
• the foreground color is the front layer, your text will appear in this color
• the background color is the back piece, it will appear like an outline from the front
• the more contrast between the foreground and background colors, the more legible the text will be. Do not select the same opaque color (i.e. black or white) for both foreground and background as you will not be able to make out the text. Mirrored colors are okay for both foreground and background as they have a more prominent outline which provides contrast.
