The pattern on this plaid brooch is inspired by the 'key patterns' seen on many examples of Pictish carvings, such as the Aberlemno Cross, the Hilton Stone, or the Cadboll stone. 

This is a large brooch, 90mm diameter - ideal for use with our fly plaids, or upon a shawl, wrap, or cape

A wholly unique design, cast in our workshop here in Scotland, in 100% lead-free pewter.
