This is a wonderful arts and crafts era bird brooch or pin that is enamelled on copper. It features lovely colours of blue, pink and red with green leaves, all delineated by patinated gold toned metal against a light blue colour.  This bird brooch has a copper back that is scratched with “Severa” and with “Made in Italy”.  It measures 1 3/4” in width by 1 1/2” in height.  It is fairly thick, weighing 20 grams, very nice quality.  It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or pronounced wear, might benefit from a light cleaning and polish.  Lovely blending of colours on this bird brooch - gorgeous piece!
