One of the best ways to achieve a vintage look, is with a vintage tie. The patterns and quality are unlike anything you see out there today. Wide neckties were fashionable in the 1940s, first among Zoot suiters rebelling against wartime austerity, and later as part of the "Bold Look" worn by World War II veterans returning to civilian life. This tie is from the 1970s when wide ties made a comeback. It is mustard yellow and avocado green with circular lion crests throughout. It is in excellent vintage condition, and a clip-on. It only has a crest for a label feels like an acetate rayon blend. The tie measures 4.25 inches at it's widest part and from the top to the tip 16.5 inches. This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
