One of the best ways to achieve a vintage look, is with a vintage tie. The patterns and quality are unlike anything you see out there today. Wide neckties were fashionable in the 1940s, first among Zoot suiters rebelling against wartime austerity, and later as part of the "Bold Look" worn by World War II veterans returning to civilian life. This tie is from the 1970s when wide ties made a comeback. It is red and black with Asian winged lions. It is in excellent vintage condition, underside lining discolored, not noticeable from the front. It is labeled "custom made, Kampus Korner, Coral Gables, Florida. The tie measures 4.5 inches at it's widest part and about 56.5 inches long. This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
