This is a vintage faux fur coat made by German company Girmes of Oedt. This vintage faux fur coat is made of a fabric called “Moltofur”, which resembles a panne velvet and is meant to simulate broadtail fur. The coat has a wide pointy collar, a four button front and above the wrist sleeves, typical of a time when ladies wore gloves that they would want to show off. There is a diagonal pocket built into either side. It is fully lined in a satin fabric that is additionally padded and quilted across the upper. There are loops for a belt, but no belt is supplied with this vintage faux fur coat.
