This is a vintage Hudsons Bay blanket made in rose pink with darker pink bars.  It is a 4 point blanket, meant to fit a double bed.  It has its original nappe (finish). 

Age: This style of label was in use from the mid 1941 to 1955

Condition:  This vintage Hudsons Bay blanket is in excellent condition except for a few surface nibbles - this blanket looks like it saw little to no use. 

Material: 100% Wool

Sizing: 72” by 93”.  The standard for a 4 point vintage Hudsons Bay blanket is 72” by 90” and it should weigh 6 lbs.  Collectors always look for blankets that meet or exceed the standard size as shrinkage occurs with laundering.  This blanket weighs 6 lbs and 5.4 oz - the weight indicates that there is no loss of wool nappe on this blanket.
