    SIZE CHART:
    To determine size, measure around the hip/seat. This measurement is taken around the fullest part of the child's seat. The tape measure should be firm but not tight.

    Is this pattern suitable for boys? Whilst this pattern was originally designed for girls, it can be used for little boys up to size 5 or 6. If you wish to use for older boys pants (7-14) I advise using the Kids Tumble Bums instead. Note that the Tumble Bums are a pocket free pattern.

    TRIM REQUIREMENTS: 
    20-25mm (3/4-1") elastic for waistband & ankles. You can use 12mm (1/2") elastic in the ankles if you prefer.
      
    FABRIC SUGGESTIONS:
    Quilting cotton is fabulous for this pattern as it comes in so many fabulous prints. Others: printed cotton voile, sateen, cotton poplin.
