This is a mens vintage plaid seersucker jacket dating to the 1970s, made in a green red and white check pattern, in a style similar to that worn by Herb Tarlek, the salesman for WKRP in Cincinnati, the television show.  This vintage plaid seersucker jacket is made with wide notched lapels and a two button closure. The shoulders are padded and there is a slant flapped pocket built onto either side as well as a chest pocket.  The sleeves have three button cuffs.  The back has a 13 1/2” long back bottom centre vent.  This plaid seersucker jacket is half lined.

Content label:  100% Polyester CA00026 - this is the Canadian Textile identification number for S.F.I. Apparel of Montreal, which was founded in 1944.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this plaid seersucker jacket, and although this should fit a medium size, a US size 38-40, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior:

Shoulders: 18” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 26” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/4” long

Chest: 43” around, taken under the arms (size is usually 3”-4” less than chest measurement)

Waist: 38” around

Overall length: 31“, measured at the back

Condition: This plaid seersucker jacket is in very clean condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour.
